Pete's Magic Butter Burgers
Normally we only make these if we are feeling especially frisky. Cause there is actually some effort involved. The idea was somewhat borrowed from a TV show of a certain female who is know for her entertaining. Pete takes the reins on this one. He likes the feel of the meat in his big, strong hands.
1 lb of hamburger ( go for the fat loaded stuff, makes for entertaining grease fires)
1 cup of seasoned bread crumbs
1 egg | |
1 TBS of Worchester sauce
a tablespoon per burger of butter or Promise spread or something like that. Its really supposed to be "herb" butter but that takes like too much time.
salt and pepper |
Throw everything except the butter into a big bowl and mix it up real good like. Then proceed to make some patties, as big as you can handle. First make a meat ball for each hamburger. Then take a spoonful of Promise or a pat of butter and stuff it in the middle. Then flatten the meat ball into a hamburger. Make sure to keep the butter from popping out. You want it to be smack-dab in the middle. What this does for ya is keeps the meat from drying out on the grill. And we all know how easily they can turn into hockey pucks. This technique works best for a hamburger on the rarer side. So if you do like them well done, go back a car over them a couple times.
